Our Story
How Christ Restoration Ministries International began.
Every ministry begins somewhere. Ours began quietly — not in a crowded meeting, but in the stillness of one man’s time with God.

The vision is given
During quiet time with the Lord, the vision that would become Christ Restoration Ministries International came to our General Overseer, Rev. Matthew Dauda Young. At its centre was a single burden: that God’s people should be restored.
November 2022
The call is confirmed
A second encounter followed, associated with Isaiah 52:3 and the conviction that God’s people should be restored. Our constitution records that this strengthened the call to save the lost, and led to a season of prayer and fasting seeking greater direction and clarity from the Lord.

Today
Restoration City
From that beginning, Christ Restoration Ministries International gathers each week at Med Kolleh School Compound, Treeplanting Broke Stone, behind Fourah Bay College. We worship, we pray, we teach the Scriptures, and we carry the same burden that began it all — that lives would be restored for God’s glory.
Our constitution looks beyond this one congregation to church planting, missions and ministry nationally and internationally. We are at the beginning of that road, and we walk it one obedient step at a time.
